My Soap Box

The thing that upsets me more than anything is churches. Church is nothing more than big business. Christianity is a great religion, churches are ruining it though. People thinking that you have to have the church in order to have the religion. It just doesn't work that way. It is so easy to practice Christianity with out a church.

The only thing I will say about the Roman Catholic Church is this: it is a church founded by an emporer who remained a pagan to his death. Constantine was baptized on his deathbed, against his will. What does that say about that church.

The NHL

It's a darn shame that there was no hockey played this year. All because a bunch of rich people can't agree. Players want more money, the owners want more money. Well what about us, the fans. I know that I would like to have more money....are they gonna give it to me. Probably not. Back a few years ago, when the NBA striked, I walked out on the NBA. I haven't watched a single NBA game since the last time the Chicago Bulls won their last NBA championship. Now I have walked out on the NHL. In my opinion there is no room for this petty crap, not when it's us, the fans who are the ones that foot the bill. Well that's it for now on that.

my first post

i guess i will introduce myself here on this first post. i am 25yrs old. i have been married for 3 yrs and have 2 wonderful little boys. my oldest will be 3 in march. my youngest is only about 9 weeks. i am in the United States Coast Guard, right now i am a marine science technician 3rd class (e-4). that's it for now as i am on duty right at the moment.
